Episode # 49 – Risk looking like a fool

It takes courage if you want to try new things because you risk looking like a fool.

When you first start doing new things, you don’t know what you’re doing. And that’s okay, because it’s an acceptance of your vulnerability and ignorance. But it takes humility to be willing to be a fool in the land of strangers.

It’s an act of courage because you reveal your vulnerability by stumbling around, but as long as you’re stumbling forward, you’re going to move forward.

It’s about figuring out why you’re not being the person you could be and then moving in that direction. Accept the fact that you will fall, that you will fail, and that you will risk looking like a fool.

Nothing important is worth having if you’re not willing to take a risk.
