Episode # 48 – Are you easily offended?

Moving to another country and meeting new people can be very exciting, educational, and inspiring.

Personally, I love getting to know people from different cultures. I can talk with them for hours, discovering our differences and the things that unite us. I can’t think of a better way to learn and discover new things, to educate myself, and to grow.

Of course, it’s not always sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns because I also meet people who deal with people with different views in a less friendly way.

Last week, I had an encounter with people who got offended by something I posted in a Facebook group. I understand that everybody reacts differently, and it got me thinking about why some people are easily offended.
