Episode # 41 – I’m an asshole!

Sometimes I call me myself an asshole whenever I do something stupid, which happens more often than I would like to admit.

Last week I got called an asshole by somebody else for something I shared. I’m well aware that I am not the world’s greatest storyteller so I can handle being criticized. You could even argue that it’s a good thing if people criticize your work because they actually take the time to watch, read or listen to it and make the effort to comment on it.

If you are an artist and share your art, or whatever it is you poured your heart and soul in, with the rest of the world people are going to have an opinion about it. You know what it’s like to jump into the arena of vulnerability and being judged by the ‘spectators’. Which is perfectly fine because it’s a step up from being ignored.

In this video I share the encounters I had with some of these ‘spectators’, how it affected me and my thoughts about the experience.
